A well-known Japanese leaker, Momomo has released a datasheet, which contains information about an unreleased AMD product. The datasheet features AMD’s Ryzen 5000G series, and the matter of fact is that the company has not yet announced the series.

The leaked file contains three processor families, all part of the Ryzen 5000G series. As you know, AMD released its Ryzen 5000 U and H series back in January, however, the manufacturer made no promises or announcements regarding a desktop variant known as the G series though.

From the datasheet, we know, that AMD Ryzen 7 5700G will be a flagship SKU in the series with 8-cores and 16-threads. The card will also feature a 3.8 GHz base clock and up to a 4.6 GHz boost clock. Another SKU listed is the AMD Ryzen 5 5600G which is a 6-core and 12-thread and comes with a base clock of 3.9 GHz and turbo up to 4.4 GHz. The 4-core and 8-thread part known as Ryzen 3 5300G would offer a base clock of 4.0 GHz and boost up to 4.2 GHz.

According to the datasheet, the frequencies have been increased by 200 MHz compared to the Ryzen 4000G “Renoir” series. However, if the report is indeed true, then the 5000G series will be a massive update over the 4000G series.

However, AMD is yet to confirm even the existence of such an SKU, and the company had earlier made a huge mistake by not releasing its 4000G series through conventional retail channels. Hence, the Ryzen 4000G was only available through the grey market from OEMs and system integrators.
