# AMD’s new Radeon RX 6600 XT beats RTX 3060 in OpenGL test

AMD recently announced the budget [Radeon RX 6600 XT](https://technosports.co.in/2021/07/30/amd-radeon-rx-6600-xt-graphics-card-officially-announced-for-379/) at $379 and it did appear that the Red team is targeting the RTX 3060. The GPU comfortably sits between the RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 Ti, now, a recent performance leak goes to prove that as well.

The AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT was paired with a Core i9-10900K and in OpenGL, at 1440p the RX 6600 XT GPU got 104 FPS while the RTX 3060 sports 98 FPS. So, it is a slender win but it lacks behind the likes of RTX 3060 Ti as it captures 112 FPS.
