AMD’s new Ryzen 7000X3D chips will be launching soon into the market and prior to that bunch of leaks have been surfacing online, including the recent one of the 12-core Ryzen 9 7900X3D and now its time for the absolute flagship Ryzen 9 7950X3D with 16 Zen 4 cores but now with up to 128MB L3 cache.
As we know, these X3D V-Cache chips from AMD will have the advantage of more cache that directly helps in gaming so, the Geekbench leak of this upcoming CPU is kind of expected.
AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D spotted on Geekbench
Thanks to @BenchLeaks, this Ryzen 9 7950X3D is seen on Geekbench tested using an ASUS X670E Hero motherboard based on the same AM5 socket. This 16-core and 32-thread processor comes with 64MB 3D V-Cache, paired with 32GB of DDR5 RAM and on Geekbench we see clock speeds ranging from 5.1 to 5.68 GHz.
In the results, you see the 7950X3D getting a single-core score of 2157 points and up to 21841 points in multi-core, which is a bit less than the regular Ryzen 9 7950X. Much like the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, this Ryzen 9 7950X3D also cannot be judged in synthetic benchmarks but in gaming, we expect significant performance gains.
