AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs have received significant price decreases in Europe, with the flagship being 200 Euros lower than when it was first released. Retailers are giving considerable price reductions on AMD Ryzen 7000 Desktop CPUs, according to reports from industry outlets HardwareLuxx and Computerbase.

AMD’s partners selling the chips, not AMD, are responsible for the price decreases. This is wonderful news for European users who were hoping to build a PC using the latest AMD CPUs because the launch costs for these chips in the region weren’t so terrific.

The AMD Ryzen 9 7950X was priced at 849 Euros in the region, followed by the Ryzen 9 7900X at 669 Euros, the Ryzen 7 7700X at 479 Euros, and the Ryzen 5 7600X at 359 Euros.

These costs were obviously far more than what people were paying in the United States, and the main reason for such a large discrepancy was the VAT, which is approximately 20% and is applied to all electronic products in the European market.

Now, new market price changes and retailers relaxing back on introductory prices have resulted in a considerable price decline. The AMD Ryzen 9 7950X is currently available for as little as 648 Euros, the Ryzen 9 7900X for as little as 538 Euros, the Ryzen 7 7700X for as little as 398 Euros, and the Ryzen 5 7600X for as little as 297 Euros.

Except for the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X, all CPUs are now closer to their US prices, while the flagship is almost $30 US less than the US MSRP of $699 US, which is a fantastic offer. Meanwhile, Newegg and Microcenter in the United States are providing up to $100 off a brand new X670 motherboard with the purchase of a Ryzen 7000 CPU, or $100 off and a free 32 GB DDR5 kit with the purchase of the top Ryzen 9 and Ryzen 7 CPUs.
