Reviews of the new AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D CPU had appeared on YouTube and other tech hardware sites before it was released. And the next-generation Zen 3 3D-Cache-based processor was officially unveiled a couple of days back. No major US store currently has the goods in stock, forcing new users and gamers to either wait for the product to return to digital shelves or pay premium scalper pricing due to their inability to stay.

At $449, AMD’s Ryzen 7 5800X3D processor was sold out. However, third-party vendors’ listings on sites like Newegg pushed prices up to $599. This loss of sellable stock is bad news for AMD, which undertook various marketing efforts to reassure customers that there would be stock available and that the price would be reasonable. Users will now have to hunt for other AMD CPUs that are compatible with their system, which isn’t always the best option, or go to a competitor and buy from them.

Amazon out-of-stock of AMD’s Ryzen 7 5800X3D

Another shop that was out of stock for the new AMD processors was Amazon, but what was notable about their eCommerce site was the lack of any costly third-party listings. The AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D was ranked second on Amazon’s list of Bestselling CPUs, according to Sasa Marinkovic, AMD Director of Gaming Marketing. However, due to the lack of supply, that location has changed.

Users won’t have to worry because Amazon, Newegg, and other online sellers anticipate these types of sales and provide the option to be notified when the product is back in stock. This was, however, the final AMD processor to use the AM4 architecture. The AM5 socket 5nm Ryzen 7000 Raphael CPUs, based on the Zen 4-based architecture, is AMD’s next offering.

The AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D CPU was supposed to be a great upgrade for individuals looking for a high-end processor at a reasonable price. The device features 3D-stacked SRAM, exceeding Intel’s Core i9-12900K and i9-12900KS processors.

  1. Please don’t ever quote or use that Russian POS as a source again. I’d rather trust a Rat to find my next meal than that idiot.
