AMD Ryzen 7 5800 confirmed: beats Core i9-10900K in CPU-Z single-core & Core i9-9900KS in multi-core

The Red team is supposed to launch more new Ryzen 5000 series CPUs in the coming days and we have already spotted the AMD Ryzen 7 5800 with up to 4.6GHz boost clock speeds earlier and now it is confirmed with the new CPU-Z benchmark.

Thanks to @TUM_APISAK, the upcoming non-X variant of the extremely powerful Ryzen 7 5800X is set to make itself public soon as Intel is planning to launch the Rocket Lake-S desktop processors.

The AMD Ryzen 7 5800 should have the same features like the 5800X with 8 Zen 3 cores & 36MB cache but comes with a decreased 4.6GHz boost clock speeds as well as lower TDPs.

Still, as we see in the CPU-Z benchmarks, the AMD Ryzen 7 5800 nailing the 10th Gen Intel SKUs easily and scoring 637 points in single-thread scores.

While in multi-threaded scores, the AMD Ryzen 7 5800 easily beats out the Intel Core i9-9900KS as well as the Core i7-10700K with 6467 points. Now, it will be interesting to see how AMD prices the new 8-core CPU; as we know the Ryzen 7 5800X costs $449, so it is safe to say AMD might price it at $399 most probably.
