Earlier, we saw AMD’s new Navi 21 GPU line-up leaked in a series of tweets, and the details were mouth-watering. Now, it seems another leaker has decided to grace us with juicy details of AMD’s upcoming Ryzen APU lin-up.
The Twitter user, ExecutableFix has reported leaked some exclusive details regarding the upcoming Ryzen APU line-up which will include Zen 3 based Cezanne and Zen 2 based Lucienne APUs. The two new APUs will fall under the Ryzen 5000 series family.
According to sources, the AMDs Ryzen 5000 “Cezanne Zen 3” line-up will include the Ryzen 7 5800U and Ryzen 5 5600U APUs. The Ryzen 7 5800U will come with 8 cores & 16 threads, whereas the Ryzen 5 5600U will only feature 6 cores and 12 threads.
Coming to the AMD Ryzen 5000 “Lucienne Zen 2” line-up. The SKUs will feature the Ryzen 7 5700U and Ryzen 5 5500U APUs. The Ryzen 5 5500U will also feature 6 cores and 12 threads and the Ryzen 7 5700U will feature 8 cores and 16 threads, same as their other counterparts.
AMD Ryzen 7 5000U Series APUs:
The high-end APUs to be released is the Zen 3 based Ryzen 7 5800U and the Zen 2 based Ryzen 7 5700U. The new Ryzen 7 5800U will features 8 cores and 16 threads, as mentioned above. Additionally, it will also include a 16 MB of L3 cache and clock speeds set at 2.0 GHz for the base and 4.4 GHz for boost frequencies. They will also feature an 8 CU (512 SP) Vega GPU clocked at 2000 MHz.
AMD Ryzen 5 5000U Series APUs:
According to sources, the Ryzen 5 5600U will feature a base clock of 2.30 GHz and a boost clock of 4.2 GHz. The chipset will also include an enhanced Vega 7 graphics chip, including 7 compute units and 448 stream processors. The TDP of the chip is supposedly maintained at 10-25W. The Ryzen 5 5500U will feature 6 cores and 12 threads based on the Zen 2 core architecture.
AMD Ryzen 3 5000U Series APUs:
The upcoming Ryzen 3 5400U (Cezanne) and the Ryzen 3 5300U (Lucienne) will feature 4 cores and 8 threads. The 5400U also features an 8 MB L3 cache, while the 5300U will feature a 4 MB L3 cache. The 5400U comes at a 2.60 GHz base clock and 4.0 GHz boost clock speed. The 5300U, on the other hand, comes with a 2.60 GHz base clock and 3.85 GHz boost clock speed. Both SKUs feature a 6 CU (384 SP) Vega iGPU. The 5400U is clocked at 1600 Mhz and the 5300U being at 1500 MHz.
