Finally, today the Red team has announced a lot of new CPUs and among them, three new budget CPUs will get gamers absolutely excited! It’s quite strange that it took so long for AMD to bring the 7nm based rest of the Zen 3 SKUs to the market but as Intel has risen to the occasion AMD had to react.
So, finally, these are three new Ryzen 5000 series processors launched alongside the entry-level Ryzen 4000 based CPUs and with these AMD is targeting the budget CPU market Intel is currently dominating. This includes the brother to the Ryzen 7 5800X which is the new Ryzrn 7 5700X, almost the same specs but comes with a lower 65W TDP and boost clock speeds up to 4.6GHz.
The Ryzen 7 5700X comes with 36MB total cache and PCIe Gen 4 support while AMD is not bundling a Wraith Stealth cooler in the package but will charge you $299, almost similarly priced to the current Ryzen 7 5700G which is retailing for $298. Now, coming to the successor of the most popular CPU – the Ryzen 5 5600, AMD has again kept its promise.
This 6 core, 12 threaded CPU now has Zen 3 cores and a base clock speed of 3.5GHz and boost up to 4.4GHz, a TDP of 65W, also will come with a Wraith Stealth cooler in-box with a price of $199.
This by far will again make fans crazy for the new budget Ryzen processor and to make things even sweeter you have a Ryzen 5 5500 as well with similar specs but with Gen 3 support and a price tag of $159. All of these CPUs will eventually be available on shelves from April 4th onwards.
So, which CPU you are gonna end up buying? Tell us in the comments down below, we will try to bring the Indian pricing as well as a review of all these CPUs soon.
