The AMD Radeon RX 7600 8 GB reference graphics card leaked yesterday, and AIBs are now assembling their customised lineup for the graphics card. The Gigabyte and XFX versions have now been posted by Canadian shop Canada Computers along with their anticipated Canadian costs.
Despite the listing being quite brief, Momomo_US easily found the three models, and Harukaze5719 listed their pricing. Two XFX variations and one Gigabyte variant are among the three models. The most expensive of the three cards is the Gigabyte Radeon RX 7600 Gaming OC 8 GB, which costs 425 CAD, or $315 US. This must have a triple-fan design and excellent cooling.
The Radeon RX 7600 Speedster QICK308 BLACK costs 419 CAD or $311 US, and the Radeon RX 7600 Speedster SWFT120 CORE costs 409 CAD or $304 US.
The remaining two cards are from XFX. Estimating the AMD Radeon RX 7600 to have a reference MSRP of about $249 US, or even less, close to $300 US, is not incorrect. Rumour has it that AMD will decide on a final pricing of $299 US to compete with NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4060 8 GB graphics card, which will be offered at a comparable price.
According to a recent performance leak, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 8 GB and AMD Radeon RX 7600 8 GB graphics cards will compete head-to-head, however future games that use DX12 and Ray Tracing APIs may favour the green team. The AMD FSR 3 has not yet been publicly released, and the NVIDIA cards also include DLSS 3.
In contrast to FSR, which is currently not supported by any AAA titles, the fact that the vast majority of games already support DLSS 3 is unquestionably a reasonable and valid argument in favour of buying GeForce hardware.
