The new RTX 3080 killer from AMD was supposed to beat the NVIDIA card in all aspects but it seems compute benchmarks says other things. While in games the GPU might go neck-to-neck with the RTX 3080 but in the Geekbench 5 OpenCL tests, the scores aren’t much convincing against NVIDIA.

As spotted by the tipster @TUM_APISAK, the new AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT is spotted to have scored 158820 points on OpenCL benchmarks. It features 72 Compute Units 4608 Stream Processors, and units will be paired along-side 16GB of GDDR6 memory.

The card features a 256-bit memory bus and has a clock speed of above 2.0GHz. The game clock will be 2015 MHz while attaining a healthy 2250 MHz for the boost clock. The 128MB infinity cache helps to further leverage better 4K gaming performance and is built upon the 7nm process; the total board power remains 300W.
