AMD brings new Radeon RX 6000 Series GPUs, starts at $579

Finally, the day has come when you can finally buy an AMD Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs across the globe and in India as well. This is the most exciting part because, after long, long years, AMD can match or even beat top-of-the-line NVIDIA GPUs and implement the much-awaited Ray tracing to its GPUs.

New AMD RDNA 2 gaming architecture provides up to 2X higher performance in select titles with the AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card compared to the AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card built on AMD RDNA architecture, and up to 54% more performance-per-watt when comparing the AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT graphics card to the AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card using the same 7nm process technology.

Both of the GPUs are very powerful and meant for smooth 1440p as well as 4K gaming. While the Radeon RX 6800 GPU is meant for stepping into 4K gaming, the Radeon RX 6800 XT provides world-class, ultra-high refresh rate 4K gameplay.

AMD has introduced a lot of tech into these GPUs including AMD Infinity Cache, AMD Smart Access Memory, AMD FidelityFX, Radeon Anti-Lag and the much awaited DirectX Raytracing (DXR) as well as Variable Rate Shading (VRS).

The Radeon RX 6800 MBA (Made by AMD / Reference) cards are available starting today from etailers/retailers with an AMD SEP of INR 45999 + GST. The AIB models of RX 6800 XT and RX 6800 cards will be available from partners starting the week of November 25.

Additionally, raytracing support for the new Radeon graphics cards expanded as Gearbox Publishing and Counterplay Games are planning to enable DXR 1.1 raytracing in Godfall today. Developed on RDNA 2, Godfall offers incredible visual fidelity and performance on Radeon RX 6800 Series graphics cards.
