AMD Radeon RX 6700 series will be launching on March 3

AMD has finally announced the launch date of the much anticipated Radeon RX 6700 series GPUs. NVIDIA has launched many GPUs in the mid-range, and now it’s time for AMD to rise as their RDNA 2 based RX 6800 series GPUs were great, so the 6700 series is also expected to provide superior gaming performance.

On March 3rd, the journey continues for #RDNA2. Join us at 11AM US Eastern as we reveal the latest addition to the @AMD Radeon RX 6000 graphics family. https://t.co/5CFvT9D2SR pic.twitter.com/tUpUwRfpgk

The Red team had to react to a number of NVIDIA GPUs like RTX 3060, which goes on sale from today, RTX 3060 Ti, and RTX 3070. So, the much anticipated Radeon RX 6700 series will make its way to gamers on March 3rd as a part of their “AMD – Where Gaming Begins” 3rd launch event.

The even will start at 11:00 ET (-05:00 UTC) or 9:30 PM IST and AMD has already exposed the reference GPU and it looks like the render which we saw last year.

Already a number of leaks in February have confirmed the listings from AIBs of these new 6700 series GPUs and already we know some specs of these new Navi 22 GPUs.

The Radeon RX 6700 XT specs include 40 compute units with 2560 stream processors, up to 12 GB of GDDR6 VRAM, and a 192-bit memory bus. A non-XT desktop version with only 6 GB of VRAM and dynamic TGP running between 146 and 156 W is also rumored to be launched.

It will be interesting to see if AMD launches more of the new Ryzen 5000 processors at the same event or not, also how they price these GPUs against NVIDIA’s lineup.
