AMD has unveiled its latest innovation in the automotive tech space with the launch of the Artix™ UltraScale+™ XA AU7P FPGAs. This new offering expands AMD’s automotive-grade FPGA portfolio, delivering a smaller, cost-effective solution specifically designed for ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and Digital Cockpit applications.

As the demand for compact silicon devices grows in the automotive industry, especially for sensors and digital cockpit systems, AMD’s Artix UltraScale+ XA AU7P FPGAs cater to this need by offering low-cost, low-power, and high I/O-to-logic ratios in a 9×9 mm package, the smallest available for AMD’s 16nm SoCs.
