A big announcement from AMD in the form of BIOS update has been confirmed recently as soon AGESA 1.1.9.0 BIOS will be rolling out especially for the new AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors.

The update brings changes as follows:

  • Win10 s0i3 support
  • Stability tuning for 1800-2000MHz FCLK (OC)
  • Support for passive X570 motherboards
  • General stability improvements

Apart from that Win10 s0i3 support, one of the biggest change you will notice with the update is the stability tuning for Infinity Fabric clock speed at 1800-2000MHz. The higher the speed of the fabric clock which connects the components like RAM, CPU and others will result in better overall system performance.

Apart from these, the new AGESA 1.1.9.0 BIOS will also get support for passive X570 motherboards as well as some general improvements. Already these new Ryzen 5000 series CPUs are amazing when comes to real-world performance and these new BIOS updates are always welcome from the Red team.
