## Why the OnePlus Pad 2 Remains a Strong Buy in 2026

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 inside the Pad 2 remains one of the most powerful chips in any Android tablet right now — the OnePlus Pad 3 launched with the Snapdragon 8 Elite at ₹59,999, making this a significantly more affordable entry point into flagship-tier tablet performance. For gaming, streaming, and productivity, the Gen 3 chip handles everything without a hiccup.

The six-speaker system with Dolby Atmos is the other headline feature — immersive sound is genuinely one of the strongest use cases for a tablet, and few Android slates at this price match the audio depth the Pad 2 delivers. The 3K display at 144Hz rounds out a multimedia package that beats similarly priced competition from Samsung and Xiaomi on paper.

## How It Compares to Rivals at This Price

| Tablet | Price | Display | Chip | Speakers |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| OnePlus Pad 2 (Prime Day) | ₹28,249 eff. | 3K 144Hz IPS | Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 | 6 speakers |
| Xiaomi Pad 7 | ~₹26,999 | 3.2K 144Hz LCD | Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 | 4 speakers |
| Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE | ~₹34,999 | 10.9″ FHD+ | Exynos 1380 | 4 AKG speakers |
| OnePlus Pad Go 2 | ₹26,499 | 2.8K 120Hz | MediaTek Helio G100 | 4 speakers |

The Pad 2 pulls ahead on raw chip performance and speaker count — meaningful advantages if the tablet is primarily for gaming, streaming, or heavy multitasking.

## What About the OnePlus Pad 3 and Pad 4?

The newer [OnePlus Pad 3](https://www.oneplus.in/) runs a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and a larger 13.2″ 3.4K display, starting at ₹59,999 — roughly double this deal price. The Pad 4 is available at ₹55,999 during Prime Day with a free OnePlus Stylo Pro bundled. If flagship performance is non-negotiable, those are worth the premium. For most users who want a premium experience without that price jump, the Pad 2 at ₹28,249 effectively is the clear value call.
