## What the Stick Adds to Your TV

The Fire TV Stick 4K Plus plugs into the HDMI port of your TV and adds a full smart TV interface. It supports 4K with Dolby Vision and HDR10+, so a compatible TV can show more detail and a wider colour range. Dolby Atmos support helps if your TV or soundbar can play it.

Wi-Fi 6 support helps with smoother streaming on a compatible router, and the Alexa voice remote lets you search and control playback by voice. The listing mentions Alexa+, the newer assistant from Amazon.

## Apps, Gaming and Who It Is For

Popular apps such as Netflix, [Prime Video](https://technosports.co.in/prime-video-january-release-vikings/) and JioHotstar are listed, along with free streaming apps. Cloud gaming is also mentioned, though you will need a compatible service and a good connection.

The stick is most useful for people with a 4K TV that has weak built-in software, or an older HD TV they want to refresh. Check that your TV has a free HDMI port and supports 4K if you want the best picture.

## Who Should Buy It, and Who Should Skip
