Amazon advances Great Indian Festival sale to counter Flipkart

Well, the sale battle continues to grow as both the e-commerce giants look to lure as many customers as possible. Amazon originally announced the Great Indian Festival sale to take place from 4th October to counter Flipkart, which previously stated that their Big Billion Days sale will start from 7th October.

Now, just a few days back, knowing the sale date of Amazon, Flipkart advanced the dates from 3rd October to 10th October, declaring a sale to last for 8 freaking days! Yes, the longest sale period India has ever seen and just a few hours ago Amazon India has confirmed that they too will start the sale from 3rd October.
