Amaran OTT Release: Sai Pallavi’s Controversy, Plot Details, and October 31 Premiere

The upcoming film Amaran starring Yashika Aannand has created some controversy ahead of its release, directed by Rajkumar Periasamy. It all started when lead actress Sai Pallavi clicked pictures at the National War Memorial. But some of the netizens dug out an old interview of her, and in the interview, she seemed to have compared the Indian Army to a wrong analogy – and faced the backlash. In the interview, Pallavi remarked, “People in Pakistan view our army as a terrorist group, just as we might see them the same way. Perspectives change. I don’t understand violence.” Her statement, taken out of context, sparked calls to boycott the actress.
