Kunal Kemmu has worn many hats — actor, director, producer — but starting June 26, 2026, he’s adding one more: reality show host. And not just any reality show. *Alliance* is India’s first international adaptation of a globally popular [Dutch reality format](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reality_television), and it’s already looking like a game-changer for Indian OTT entertainment.

## What Makes *Alliance* Different?

Let’s be honest — Indian reality TV has seen its share of drama, eliminations, and audience voting. But *Alliance* flips the script entirely. This unscripted series marks India’s first international adaptation of a globally popular Dutch format. The landmark reality show introduces a daily viewing cycle, with a fresh episode dropping every single day at 12 noon once the broadcast cycle kicks off.

That daily episode model is genuinely new territory for Indian OTT — no waiting a week, no binge-all-at-once drop. Just one episode every single day, designed to keep you hooked and coming back.

## The Game: No Alliance Is Safe

The show brings together 16 contestants who initially enter the competition as tight duos, but quickly discover that no partnership is permanent. In an arena where a bond can be an advantage or an immediate roadblock, only one standalone player will survive to be crowned the ultimate winner.

Think of it as strategy, survival, and social dynamics all thrown into a pressure cooker. Contestants will be pushed to their absolute limits physically, mentally, and emotionally. Every specialized challenge is engineered to trigger unexpected opportunities alongside devastating setbacks — delivering a fast-paced, unpredictable, and incredibly gripping human experiment set to redefine Indian reality programming.

## Kunal Kemmu Steps Into Brand New Territory

This is Kemmu’s first-ever hosting role, and the combination of a debut host with a debut format makes *Alliance* one of the most anticipated reality premieres of 2026. Fans who know him from his acting and directorial work are about to see a completely different side of him — commanding, high-energy, and at the centre of six weeks of chaos.
