The 26-year-old could prove to be a massive recruit for Die Werkself this season, after his remarkable performance with Girona, helping them to the top four.
In 37 LaLiga games, he scored three goals and provided six assists, while playing an all-round role to help the Spanish side. As a midfielder, his role is that of a chance creator, ranking in the 97th percentile of forward pass accuracy and ranking in the 88th percentile of progressive passes.
As a result, he will naturally be able to play the line breaking and creative passes that Xabi Alonso will expect from his midfielders, aiding the attacking midfielders in chance creation.
