The Madrid-born midfielder made 18 appearances across all competitions this season for Mumbai City FC, scoring two goals and providing three assists. However, a serious injury has ruled him out for the majority of the season, prompting the Sky Blues to sign a replacement.

Bengaluru FC are set to sign several new players in the transfer window this time around. They have been linked with the likes of Carlos Delgado, Dimi Dimiantakos and Hugo Boumous too, which should make their squad very competitive for the coming season.
