Alan Wake 2 is currently available for streaming via NVIDIA’s GeForce Now service, although there are a few small restrictions to be aware of. The game is currently available on GeForce Now; however, some users may experience some issues if they attempt to play in the cloud. The good news is that these aren’t serious mistakes and can essentially be disregarded.

Alan Wake 2 is currently riddled with flaws

The flaws, which are visible when trying to launch the game, have been brought to light in internet communities like Reddit. The gamer receives a misleading error message informing them that their GPU driver needs to be updated.

NVIDIA has acknowledged the issue in a post on their support forum, stating that the warning is simply erroneously displayed and that you can simply click “OK” to disregard it, and the game will continue to function normally. Another alert that the game is installed on a hard drive rather than an SSD may also appear, but you can choose to disregard it by clicking “OK.” A third, slightly more bothersome error message appears on launch, informing the user that the game requires 16GB of RAM to function.

However, in this scenario, the only choice provided in the dialogue box is to ‘Quit,’ which closes the game. However, NVIDIA says that relaunching Alan Wake 2 should resolve the issue; this notification should display just once. The difficulty is that if you don’t know this, you might give up rather than try again, missing out on your Alan Wake 2 fix for that streaming session. Alan Wake 2 was not included in the most recent GeForce Now announcement of new games, and this could be why: it was added late, on launch day, after certain problem fixes were implemented.

Fallout fans have been anticipating this series, so it’s fantastic to finally learn when it will be released. Within the Fallout universe, the Fallout series will tell an original story set in Los Angeles and Vault 33. This is in contrast to recent video game adaptations such as The Last of Us. The 2023 Gamescom Fallout TV series teaser just leaked online, impressing fans with incredible visuals that remain true to the source material. Fans must now wait for an official trailer that the release date has been confirmed.
