Al Hilal have been crowned the Champions of the Saudi Pro League, defeating rivals Al Nassr in the race for the league title. The Blues have been named the winners of the league for the 19th time in their history. Their victory over Al-Hazem, where Aleksander Mitrovic scored a brace, was the crowning game for the club after an incredible season.
Al Hilal are still undefeated in the league, with 29 wins from 31 games. The last time they dropped points in the league was in September when they played out a 1-1 draw with Damac.

Jorge Jesus’ side has benefited the most from the massive recruitment drive in the summer, even though their top signing, Neymar, barely played a part this season. The Brazilian was seen at the celebrations with his child, enjoying with the rest of the locker room as he won his 11th league title.
Al Hilal have seen four players register 10 or more goals in Mitrovic (26), Malcom (14), Salem Al-Dawsari (13) and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (11). Their performances have been a step above the rest, and the title is very well deserved.
Now, it remains to be seen whether the PIF-owned club will embark on another spending spree in the summer to establish themselves as a top force in Asian football.
