There’s dedication, and then there’s Akshay Kumar showing up to a song shoot with a raging fever and still delivering full energy on camera. The story making rounds ahead of *Welcome To The Jungle’s* release date is both unbelievable and completely on-brand for the man who has built his entire reputation on relentless professionalism.

### Akshay Kumar’s tory Behind the Song

Bhojpuri sensation Akshara Singh made a special appearance in the song *Ghis Ghis Ghis* from *Welcome To The Jungle*, performing alongside Akshay Kumar in the comic track. And what she witnessed on set left a lasting impression.

Lauding Akki’s commitment, she recalled how he was battling a severe viral infection with a 104-degree fever during the shoot. “The biggest thing was that he had a fever of 103-104 degrees while shooting. I kept observing him and realised how much he loves his work and his craft. He works with a great sense of responsibility and dedication,” she said.

Most people would have called in sick. Akshay Kumar called action.

### How Akshara Landed the Song

Akshara received a call from director Ahmed Khan’s production house informing her about the song opportunity in *Welcome To The Jungle*. She initially hesitated — until ace choreographer Ganesh Acharya personally reached out and encouraged her to come on board. “The moment I heard Ganesh sir and Akshay sir’s name, I was completely blank,” she admitted.
