Every Venkatesh release brings a familiar question: will the family crowd turn up? Two days after release, *Aadarsha Kutumbam House No. 47* (AK 47) has a start that looks decent on paper but worrying against its big budget.

### AK 47 Box Office Collection: Day-Wise Numbers

The film opened with **Rs 10.50 crore** on Day 1 and rose slightly to **Rs 11.75 crore** on Day 2. That brings the India gross to **Rs 22.25 crore**, and the worldwide total to **Rs 33.25 crore**.

| Day | India Gross |
| --- | --- |
| Day 1 | Rs 10.50 cr |
| Day 2 | Rs 11.75 cr |
| **Total (India)** | **Rs 22.25 cr** |
| **Worldwide (2 days)** | **Rs 33.25 cr** |

*Some headlines round the worldwide figure down to Rs 32 crore. The detailed breakdown comes to Rs 33.25 crore.*

### Territory-Wise Breakdown

The Telugu states are carrying the film, with the Nizam region leading the way.

| Region | Gross |
| --- | --- |
| **AP/TS (Telugu states)** | Rs 18.15 cr |
| – Nizam | Rs 9.00 cr |
| – Andhra | Rs 7.15 cr |
| – Ceded | Rs 2.00 cr |
| **Karnataka** | Rs 3.00 cr |
| **Rest of India** | Rs 1.10 cr |
| **North America** | USD 900,000 |
| **Rest of World** | USD 250,000 |
| **Overseas total** | USD 1.15 million |

Telugu markets contribute about 80% of the India gross. Nizam and Andhra both saw healthy jumps on Day 2, a good sign for word of mouth.

### What’s the Weekend Outlook?

Current trends suggest the first weekend could close at around **Rs 32 to 35 crore** in India. The trend is positive, but the start is on the lower side for a film of this scale. Trade analysts say the distributors face heavy losses unless the film shows a strong hold on weekdays.

In other words, the numbers are respectable, but the budget raises the bar. Monday will be the real test.

### About the Film

Venkatesh plays **Chittibabu**, a husband who goes house-hunting with his wife. As she inspects the property and makes funny observations, he comes across as the ideal family man. The film mixes comedy, family drama and action.

### Why the Next Few Days Matter?

Family entertainers usually depend on repeat audiences and positive talk. If weekday collections stay steady, AK 47 could still recover. If they fall sharply, the pressure on the distributors will grow.
