Exploring New Depths of Dark Magic: ‘Shaitaan 2’ Set in Maharashtra’s Black Magic Hub
Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan’s film Shaitaan is preparing for a sequel. According to sources, an announcement for the second part is imminent.
“Shaitaan’s sequel will be announced in a few days. Ajay and Vikas (Bahl, director) are very pleased with the response so far and have high expectations for the sequel as well,” says a source.
The source also mentioned, “Filming will begin a few months after the cast is finalized, and there is a strong likelihood that the same actors will return for part two.”
Shaitaan, a supernatural horror thriller and remake of the 2023 Gujarati film Vash, centered on a family’s triumph over black magic. Sharing details about the sequel’s storyline, an insider reveals, “The story will be set in Kokam, Maharashtra, known as the state’s black magic hub. The narrative will delve into the complexities and energies of black magic.”
“It won’t focus on another family being targeted but will explore a different aspect of black magic,” the source adds. When asked for a comment, one of the lead actors, Janki Bodiwala, responded, “Well, you know how filmmakers work, right? Sometimes it’s better to keep the details under wraps until the right moment. Just like in Shaitaan 2, where secrets and surprises are part of the thrill. Let’s just say, expect the unexpected and get ready for a rollercoaster ride of devilish proportions!” without confirming or denying the details.
