Star Wars has unlocked one of the most awaited trailers ‘Ahsoka’. The Star Wars series has been made by Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau. It is going to act as a standalone sequel to Star Wars Rebels.
The brand new teaser trailer of the series gives the audience such an exciting boost of dopamine with the most awaited glimpses of the titular character Ahsoka Tano, reprised by actor Rosario Dawson, on her quest in search for both Grand Admiral Thrawn and Ezra Bridger. The new trailer is one minute and fifty-one seconds long-that provides offers an array of intriguing Star Wars connections.
After watching the trailer, it seems that Dawson’s Ahsoka Tano will be seen making preparations to save the entire galaxy from the massive threat that could end everything the Original Star Wars Trilogy heroes fought so hard for and for so long to create.
Ahsoka: Plot
As we know that Ahsoka and Sabine are searching for Ezra Bridger. In the short teaser we have seen exclusively for the Mando+ panel crowd, fans saw Ahsoka in front of the Rebels mural as Bordizzo’s Sabine walks in to join her.
After one year, at Celebration 2023, fans at the event and online were treated to footage that just further solidifies the idea that Ahsoka is a Rebels continuation rather than a Mandalorian spinoff. The teaser clearly presents us with Ahsoka coming to Sabine as she starts to hear rumors about the return of Thrawn, the blue-skinned Imperial who was “defeated” by the end of Rebels.
Lothal-like Jedi Temple and Lothal’s Capital City
At the beginning of Ahsoka’s official teaser trailer, we can see the titular main character, a former Jedi, walking through the ruins of some kind of temple. The temple-like location is looking very similar to the Lothal Jedi Temple, which is an immensely significant location in the story of Rebels. When it is very unlikely that the place will be the exact same temple, it is evident that the titular character’s journey to look for Thrown and Ezra will allow her to visit an array of locations powered by the Force.
After continuing the traits of the new series serving as a sequel to Rebels, the trailer unlocks the planet of Lothal. For the Rebels, the world used to be a prime location, with the ending scene of the series situated in Lothal, setting up a backdrop for Ahsoka. This thing makes absolute sense that one of the prime locations of the series will be Lothal, especially as the show will see the return of Hera Syndulla and Sabine Wren to the Star Wars franchise.
Hera Syndulla debut in her first Star Wars live-action series
For all the Star Wars fans the biggest surprises unlock in the teaser trailer that shows Hera Syndulla, making her live-action debut. The crucial character will be portrayed by Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Hera Syndulla has displayed similarly to how she was shown in Rebels: as a brave, daring, and courageous pilot, outgunning and outlying her pursuers. In one part of the trailer, it showcases Hera giving an impactful speech to New Republic pilots. This hints at her character in the post-return era of the Jedi government in Star Wars.
Mon Mothma Comes back
In the official trailer of the series, we have seen Mon Mothma returned, portrayed by Genevieve O’Reilly. After being part of Andor and Rogue One, the main character evidently made her come back to the Star Wars world as a member of the New Republic panel. Mothma played a significant character in the New Republic outfit as the Chancellor after the epic fall of the Empire, so her appearance in the upcoming series is quite fitting in regards to its placement in the timeline of Star Wars.
The appearance of the titular character and the return of the New Republic in the series could be crucial. This could denote that the main character is working with the New Republic, as she attempts to inform them of the reality that Thrawn is reconstructing the entire Empire from the shadows.
Ahsoka: Cast
While Ahsoka is clearly Dawson’s show, it seems more and more likely that Natasha Liu Bordizzo will have a major part to play as Sabine Wren, another prominent character from Rebels. Filoni also confirmed our suspicions that Winstead, Obi-Wan Kenobi himself will be playing Hera, who was voiced by Vanessa Marshall in Rebel. The footage confirmed that Genevieve O’Reilly’s Mon Mothma joins the cast along with The Inspection’s Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger. Ray Stevenson and Ivanna Sakhno’s unnamed and possibly Sith. Hayden Christensen may return as Darth Vader for Ahsoka.

Let’s get to your most burning question first, shall we? Filoni has finally spilled the release date at Star Wars Celebration 2023.
