Every winning streak hits a speed bump eventually. SBS’s **“Agent Kim Reactivated”** just recorded its first-ever ratings dip since premiere — but don’t mistake this for a slowdown. The show is still comfortably the biggest drama of the year.

## What Actually Happened

The drama has been on an unstoppable run, and last week it soared past the 20% mark, logging the third-highest rating of any Friday-Saturday drama in SBS history. On July 10, that streak finally cooled — episode 5 came in at 20.5% nationwide, a dip from its peak, yet still enough to make it the most-watched program of the entire week across any genre.

## Agent Kim Reactivated: Ratings Snapshot

| Milestone | Detail |
| --- | --- |
| Peak Achievement | 3rd-highest Fri-Sat rating in SBS history |
| First Dip | Occurred on July 10 (Episode 5) |
| Latest Rating | 20.5% nationwide |
| Weekly Rank | #1 most-watched program of the week |

## Why Fans Can’t Get Enough

Based on a popular webtoon, the drama follows Manager Kim, played by **So Ji Sub**, an ordinary-seeming dad hiding a dangerous past who risks everything to protect his daughter. That mix of family stakes and action-thriller tension has clearly struck a chord with Korean audiences this year — a genre blend that owes a lot to the rise of [webtoons](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Webtoon) as a major source material for hit K-dramas.

A single-digit dip after weeks of record-breaking numbers isn’t a red flag — it’s simply gravity catching up with a show that’s been defying it since day one.
