It seems that the last and the final season of Ricky Gervais Netflix series After Life may come to an end on Netflix in January 2022 after the beginning of the filming in 2021. It is mainly a Netflix original comedy series that has been featured Ricky Gervais who has played the role of Tony.
The character Tony is now passing through a difficult time as he loses her wife and also has been left behind by trying to generate the pieces and finding a new purpose. The second season arrives on Netflix globally on 24th April 2020 with the first season that has been arrived in March 2019.

It s just like a trend of Ricky Gervais as he has ended all his shows after the two or three seasons and After Life will have the following similar path. The Mirror has confirmed that Ricky Gervais about season four would not be coming back. Gervais said,
“I’ve already made my mind up there won’t be a four.
“And you do put those things out there to make you remember as it’s tempting but… there’s an old saying that ‘to lead the orchestra, you’ve got to turn your back on the audience’.
“That’s true. The audience thinks they want another one, but they’re not sure. So you’ve got to be careful”
After Life(Season 3): Expectation
In season 2 we have seen the talent show of the town where Tony is slowly recovering from the loss, but he is also facing further setbacks to the ending of season 2. The father of him played by David Bradley had died from dementia in the nursing home It is expecting a normal funeral for taking place to the point in season 3.
Matt’s marriage has been seeming to be patched up along the course of season 2 but whether it will be long lasting could be explored and moving forwards.
There is also such a main overarching plot for the third season that would be the continuation and hopefully, it is the salvation of the local newspaper. Tony has promised Sandy that the paper would be continued and Tony has seemed to have got the kick out of having the new purpose in life.
We have previously seen that Tony is trying to cope with the loss of his father and also it reveals the relationship that is blossoming in its own manner with Emma who finally exposed her name revealed in the second season.
It is expected that we will see the continual flashbacks through the laptop of Tony and also introduce such new characters.
