Shakhtar Donetsk will be without Pedrinho, sidelined by a hamstring injury expected to keep him out until mid-October, and Marlon Santos, who is dealing with a muscle injury. ## What to Expect

Playing “home” matches on neutral ground in London adds a unique dynamic to Shakhtar’s campaign, often neutralizing the usual home-crowd advantage. AEK Athens will look to capitalize on that, using their full-strength squad to control tempo and press for an away-day upset. Shakhtar, despite their injury concerns, remain a resilient side with plenty of experience navigating disrupted circumstances, and they’ll aim to use their attacking depth to compensate for the missing personnel.

## Prediction

With AEK Athens boasting a fully fit squad and Shakhtar missing two key attacking options, this looks like a closely contested match that could favor the Greek side on the day, though Shakhtar’s European pedigree makes them far from easy opponents.
