Manchester United are trying to sign Adrien Rabiot in the coming days, with a new round of talks set to take place to finalise personal terms.

Juventus have agreed a fee worth €17/18 million for the French midfielder, who they signed as a free agent from PSG. Max Allegri has a wealth of talent in midfield to choose from, and can offload him without much hassle. But before that, the details of the contract need to be agreed upon.

United have been linked with Frenkie De Jong as their top midfield target this summer. However, they have failed to convince the player to make the switch so far. As a result, Adrien Rabiot has emerged as one of the other options that could play as a left-sided midfielder in Erik Ten Hag’s lineup.

However, he hasn’t had the best time on the pitch in Turin. And with Manchester United’s recent struggles, it is a big question as to whether the player would improve the quality of the team as a whole.

There are new signings needed, and more quality that needs to be provided alongside Scott McTominay and Fred. As a result, it looks like a panic buy from the Red Devils given how late it is in the transfer window. But, it all depends on how the midfielder performs in England.
