Manchester United are trying to sign Adrien Rabiot this summer on a free transfer. The midfielder is out of a contract with Juventus at the end of the season, and even though he has been offered an extension, he hasn’t accepted their offer to renew.

The player was on United’s list last summer as well, but a deal for him fell through after the initial stages. This time around, though, it could go through with no transfer fee involved. However, other clubs like Bayern Munich are also in the race to land him, and nothing has been decided as things stand.

The Frenchman has been in fine goalscoring form this season, finding the back of the net 11 times and providing six assists in 46 appearances across all competitions.

He has now become a regular under Max Allegri, following harsh criticism last season. But it looks unlikely that the player will still stay in Turin beyond the summer.

With the form he has shown this year, Adrien Rabiot will be a man in demand. And he will have several offers to pick from, and a decision over his future is not imminent yet.

Manchester United are also gearing up to extend the contracts of several first team players. Negotiations with Diogo Dalot are progressing well, and should be completed very soon. The club sees him as a key part of their project and want to keep him for the coming years. Alongside him, Marcus Rashford and David De Gea are also set for new deals.
