Adobe Photoshop Launches on iPhone With Free Features, Premium Subscription Costs ₹799/Month in India
Adobe is quick to point out that the new mobile app is not here to replace the desktop version. It is, instead, built for mobile-first creators, delivering necessary tools in a more easily accessible format. Photoshop on iPhone brings all the key features from the desktop, with precise selection tools; unlimited layers and masks; and AI-powered capabilities, including Generative Fill and Generative Expand. Tap Select tools and Spot Healing Brush also allow users to remove, recolor, or replace parts of an image.
The app also supports exporting images to Adobe Express, Adobe Fresco, as well as Adobe Lightroom. Other features include selective adjustments; full-resolution editing; and free assets from Adobe Stock. It also pairs with Photoshop on the Web for a cohesive experience pulling up and editing files on either. Some of those features are free to use, though Adobe also sells a Premium subscription that unlocks additional tools. A Premium plan has been announced by Adobe which gives access to advanced editing and designing tools.
On mobile, Premium features such as the Remove Tool, Clone Stamp, Content-Aware Fill, Object Select, Magic Wand, Advanced Blend Modes, 20K+ Fonts, PSD, TIF, JPG, and PNG support can be unlocked. The Premium plan for Photoshop on the Web includes Camera RAW filter, shapes, layer effects, Quick Actions, and AI-powered tools like Generate Similar and Reference Images. The Adobe Photoshop Premium subscription costs ₹799 per month in India and can be purchased via Apple’s App Store. It is included with every Photoshop subscription, including the desktop app.
