Adidas comes up with a unique idea to offer a tribute to Lionel Messi. The Sportswear company launches the new Nemeziz Messi.1 boots, nicknamed ‘Rey del Balon’.

Lionel Messi has already been wearing the boots throughout March 2021. But it was not available in the market, which is now available on Adidas’ website.

Adidas is one of the sponsors of Lionel Messi. It is an honour for them to work with one of the greatest players in the world. The overall design of the boots will remain the same as the Nemeziz, added with a V-shape tension tape which is modelled on the dancer’s slippers. It offers increased ankle support. The boot contains some of the specific details of Lionel Messi, including his name, a gold crown, and Messi’s signature logo in yellow colour.

Adidas’s trademark Torsion System technology allows the extreme torsional movement of the boots. It helps the players maintain balance at high speeds.

Lionel Messi is arguably the best player of all time. The FC Barcelona legend has made 748 appearances in his career and scored 663 goals. The six-times Ballon D’or has few years left in football as he is now 34 years old. But Adidas believes that the record he has made might be unbroken.
