Adana Demirspor are set to sign Edouard Michut on loan with a buy option included. The player will be signed as part of a deadline day deal for the Turkish side, and he becomes the latest to leave PSG after Marco Verratti and Julian Draxler.

The youngster spent this past season on loan with Sunderland in the Championship. He made 28 appearances for the club, but was unable to gain Premier League promotion. He decided to not stay in the Championship even though he didn’t have a chance to play for PSG.

The 20-year-old is under contract until 2025 with PSG but could be signed permanently by the Turkish club next summer. He was training with the “undesirables” such as Julian Draxler, Marco Verratti and more leading up to his exit.

Serie A sides Salernitana, Lecce and Sunderland were keen on signing the PSG academy graduate. But, they were unable to get a deal over the line before the European transfer window deadline.

Edouard Michut is currently in Turkey and has completed his medical ahead of the transfer. Adana Demirspor are also in talks to re-sign Italian striker and former player Mario Balotelli, after he left Swiss club Sion following the termination of his contract.
