K-pop fans heading to Taipei this summer have a lot to look forward to. ACON 2026, the official pre-show for the Asia Artist Awards, has unveiled its special stage lineup, and it’s stacked with cross-generational covers that span Michael Jackson to BIGBANG. For more K-pop event coverage, check out the [Technosports Korean entertainment hub](https://technosports.co.in/category/korean/).

Taking place on July 25 at NTSU Arena in Taipei, ACON 2026 will be hosted by ZEROBASEONE’s Sung Han Bin, returning as MC after previously hosting AAA 2023 and AAA 2024. The performance lineup features MEOVV, Xdinary Heroes, Yena, CLOSE YOUR EYES, KISS OF LIFE, NEXZ, and QWER, with each act bringing a unique cover stage to the show.

The biggest highlight is easily the CLOSE YOUR EYES and NEXZ collaboration, a 3-on-3 dance tribute to Michael Jackson. CLOSE YOUR EYES takes on “Dangerous,” NEXZ tackles “Beat It,” and both groups unite for a joint performance of “Thriller,” a fitting nod to one of the most influential pop albums in music history, courtesy of the [King of Pop](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Jackson) himself. NEXZ will also deliver a separate cover of a GOT7 hit.

QWER is set to put their own spin on Mayday’s “LOve-ing,” while Sung Han Bin will step away from hosting duties briefly for a solo cover of Karencici’s “Hard to Say.” Yena has teased a surprise cover of a major Taiwanese hit, keeping fans guessing ahead of the show. MEOVV will perform BTS’s “Dynamite,” CLOSE YOUR EYES will reinterpret CORTIS’s “REDRED,” and KISS OF LIFE will close things out with a powerful rendition of BIGBANG’s “BAE BAE.”
