Ahead of CES 2021, we are seeing a lot of devices being launched in the market. The latest scoop is that Acer is also planning to expand its range of gaming laptops. As we know Intel will announce its new 11th Gen Core CPU series codenamed Tiger Lake-H35. The new SoC will offer higher TDP ranges (35W default) and more performance compared to Tiger Lake-U processors.
Acer seems to be taking advantage of this improvement by intel and has introduced two laptops based on the new SoC. The Acer Nitro 5 will be available with Core i7-11370H and Core i5-11300H, both expected to be quad-core processors. Acer’s Nitro series are budget-oriented gaming laptops, and the model will offer NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 GPU, the slowest GeForce GTX card released in the past 2 years. It is rather disappointing in the GPU segment but that’s what we get in the budget gaming segment.
