We will see a lot of laptops getting announced tomorrow just after the launch of new AMD and Intel processors at CES 2022, Videocardz seems kind enough to give a first look at the upcoming Acer laptops just prior to the launch.
We know Acer’s Swift X was one of the most standout laptops of 2021 with AMD Ryzen CPU and NVIDIA discrete GPU while still maintaining that slim & light profile.
This time though Acer could go all-Intel with its new 12th Alder Lake-P processors and even though Videocardz is not sure about specs but will definitely sport the upcoming Intel ARC Alchemist GPU and will become the first one to come with it.
This leak is a viable one as Acer will surely continue using discrete GPU on its affordable yet lightweight ultrabook in the form of Acer Swift X. It will again maintain its 14-inch chassis and that should be able to handle an Alder Lake-P U28 CPU and Intel ARC DG2-128EU discrete graphics.
Two small changes were noticed in the leaked pics, one being the addition of a secondary USB Type-C connector instead of the power plug and there’s no use of a Fingerprint sensor anymore. Videocardz was also kind enough to leak the photos of upcoming Acer Predator, Helios, and Nitro series gaming laptops:
