The Taiwanese OEM has recently reported some record-breaking revenue figures for January 2021, Acer has generated NT$23.50 billion or US$840 million. This revenue is up by 73.4% year-on-year (YoY), marking the highest revenue in eight years for the same period.
This is massive growth to Acer’s revenue, thanks to the strong demand in the PC market as well as the massive sales of Chromebooks these days. As per Acer’s latest consolidated revenue report, the biggest growth it has achieved is in the thin and light notebooks sector, which went up by a whopping 313.5%.
As well as on the Chromebook front, Acer has seen a massive growth by 361.4% as well as on the gaming hardware front, it has reported a 112.8% YoY growth. Last but not the least, Acer’s new ConceptD offering for creator has seen massive growth by 247.0%.
Acer’s success in the market should continue in the days to come as it announced a lot of gaming laptops, monitors and more this CES 2021. Its latest gaming line of notebooks are powered AMD Ryzen 5000H processors and RTX 30-series GPUs.
