At its launch event yesterday, Acer announced a heck lot of products, and among them, a noteworthy laptop has to be the new Acer Swift X, which you might have seen previously with Intel CPUs, now will be powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 5000 series mobile processors.
Even though sporting a thin and light form factor, Acer has managed to stuff the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU inside it. This will provide creative professionals with powerful performance along with up to 17 hours of battery life.
This ultrathin-and-light laptop becomes the first in the Swift series to come powered with discrete graphics, all at an impressive 1.39 kg. The laptop already has a premium look, all this hardware has been fitted into a metal chassis, even though it still remains 17.9 mm thin.
For performance, you can configure up to AMD Ryzen 7 5800U mobile processor with sports 8 Zen 3 cores as well as 16 threads, giving the best of the best performance. This comes coupled with 16 GB of RAM and up to 2 TB of SSD storage, and obviously you have the new RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU to handle all your graphical demands.
Talking more about the display, the Acer Swift X features a 14-inch FHD IPS display with an 85.7% screen-to-body ratio, 300 nits peak brightness and covering 100% sRGB color gamut. So, professionals can expect to easily make use of the display and the hardware to create amazing work.
It features a fingerprint sensor for more secure sign-ins through Windows Hello, AI-enhanced noise suppression for smoother video calls, and Acer BlueLightShield technology to help lessen eye strain during long editing sessions.
Acer has also equipped the Swift X with a fan with fifty-nine 0.3 mm blades and a pair of D6 copper heat pipes to optimize its thermal efficiency. Also, you have a plentiful array of ports including a full-function USB Type-C that ensures ultra-fast data transfer, video streaming and battery charging, facilitating this process, while Wi-Fi 6 means faster overall connectivity.
