ACER has released its first AMD Ryzen 7000 ‘Mendocino APU’ notebook, which has a low price of $399.99 US. AMD Mendocino APUs, which were announced in September 2022, will be aimed at the entry-level laptop category. Laptops powered by these entry-level CPUs will cost between $399 and $699 USD.
ACER has just released its first laptop with AMD Ryzen 7000 Mendocino APUs. The laptop in question is the ACER Aspire 3 ‘A315-24P-R75B,’ which is available on Amazon for $399.99 USD. The AMD Ryzen 3 7320U CPU, which has 4 cores and 8 threads and is based on the Zen 2 core architecture, powers the laptop. The CPU also has 5 MB of cache and graphics integrated Radeon 610M GPU, with 2 RDNA 2 Compute units or 128 SPs. The CPU has a base clock speed of 2.4 GHz and a turbo speed of 3.7 GHz, with a default TDP of 15W.
Acer Aspire 3 laptop specifications include a 15.6″ IPS display with a resolution of up to 1920x1080p, 8 GB of LPDDR5 memory, and 128 GB of NVMe storage. There is also WiFi 6 capability, and the laptop comes with Windows 11 Home OS pre-installed.

The laptop includes an active cooling technology as well as vents on the rear to remove hot air from the chassis. Overall, it appears to be a pretty good and affordable laptop with a powerful AMD Ryzen 7000 APU.
