Slow Start and Composed Batting

India endured a sluggish beginning to their innings after winning the coin toss and deciding to bat first. They eventually reached 127 for seven before calling their innings. Dinesh Vrinda played innings with composure, scoring 36 runs off of 29 balls and giving the side some much-needed momentum in the process. The unbroken 30 not out scored by Kanika Ahuja off of 23 deliveries was also a crucial contributor to India’s total. Because of her amazing play, Ahuja was awarded the “Player of the Match” title, which is a recognition that is richly deserved.
