AC Milan have officially announced the signing of Divock Origi from Liverpool on a free transfer. The player decided not to renew his deal with the Merseyside club in search of more first team opportunities elsewhere.

He has agreed a four-year deal with the Rossoneri, and now the move has been made official by them. The player will receive a salary worth €6 million per season as part of the contract that he has agreed.

Over the years, the Belgian has established himself as a cult hero at Liverpool. He was part of one of their best moments in recent memory, scoring the winning goal in their Champions League semi-final comeback against Barcelona.

He was also responsible for scoring several important goals against bitter rivals Everton in the Merseyside derby, and established his Identity as a supersub. But now, Divock Origi will be representing the Scudetto winners and possibly leading the line regularly.

AC Milan are not quite done yet in the transfer market. They are in talks with Chelsea over the signing of Hakim Ziyech, and are moving positively in the direction of an agreement. So, it might not be too long before the two parties have finalised the transfer.

They are also trying to sign another Belgian star, in Charles De Ketelaere. The offer made for him is around €20 million, although Leeds have made a better offer to Club Brugge as of right now.
