Alessandro Florenzi is set to be confirmed as a new Milan player as soon as the next few hours, with his new club having already scheduled a medical to complete his transfer.
The right-back will join AC Milan on an initial loan deal worth €1 million and there is a buy option worth €4.5 million which takes the total amount of the deal up to €5.5 million. The transfer has been given the here we go signal by Fabrizio Romano, which means that the move is as good as done since both clubs have reached an agreement.
Florenzi spent the previous season on loan at PSG, and made 36 appearances for them. Even though they had the option to buy the player, they decided against keeping him at the club. Instead, the French club recruited Achraf Hakimi from Inter Milan as the long-term solution for their right-back position.
Personal terms have already been agreed between the player and his new club, and he will compete for game time in the right-back position alongside Davide Calabria at the San Siro. Florenzi will become yet another great addition to the Rossoneri squad after Olivier Giroud, Fikayo Tomori, Mike Maignan and Brahim Diaz were confirmed to be included in their team.
Milan are not done with their transfer business yet and are also willing to sign Tiemoue Bakayoko from Chelsea on a loan deal before the transfer window shuts at the end of August.
