FC Goa have confirmed the signing of Aakash Sangwan from Chennaiyin FC, with the player signing a multi-year deal according to Goa’s offical website. He will be with the Gaurs for the entirety of the 24/25 season, and potentially the year after as well.
Sangwan’s arrival was announced with an official video, confirming his jersey number as well. The defender will be wearing the number 27 at his new club, the same he did for the Marina Machans.

Chennaiyin FC have already agreed a replacement for the left-back, signing Mandar Rao Desai from East Bengal as the replacement for Sangwan. The Haryana-born defender previously featured for Punjab FC, helping them to the ISL after winning the I-League.
