Namit is going to play a character in the film who is a huge fan of the late singer Kishore Kumar. “I believe that this is a whole distinct genre in and of itself, therefore the character I’m playing is unlike anything I’ve ever played. This movie has elements of every genre. I portray the ghostly figure of Atmaram, who is constantly in Lallo’s presence. All I can say about him is that he’s a big fan of Kishore Kumar and he’s fun-loving,” Namit remarked.
The lead in the quirky comedy “Aafat-E-Ishq” is played by Neha Sharma. Zee5 will premiere the movie on October 29.

ZEE5 debuted the teaser for the movie Aafat-e-Ishq on Monday, October 18, 2021. The teaser initially presents us with a standard small-town romantic comedy, but it quickly transformed into an exhilarating journey with unexpected turns that left viewers perplexed. Essentially, Liza, the Foxy-Fairy, a Hungarian film, is remade in this movie.
Neha Sharma plays the innocent, kind character Lallo in the teaser, who is searching for true love. Following her friend’s recommendation to use a dating app, she started going on a number of dates. But all of them come to an end tragically, with the suitors dying in strange accidents. As this is going on, Lallo has emerged as the main suspect.
Ila Arun, who is most likely going to play her grandmother, is eager to compare her situation to the old pulp tale in which suitors of the legendary Laal Pari—a cursed woman—died the moment they fell in love. Thus, the question of whether Lallo is cursed or if there is more to Lallo’s story than what our eyes have witnessed remains.
ZEE5 said on Instagram when releasing the teaser: “Lallo jis Mohabbat ki gali se guzre, samjho wahan saare majnu fisle.” Ishq Will Kill, #AafatEIshq, will premiere on October 29 on ZEE5. Namit Das, Deepak Dobriyal, Amit Sial, and Ila Arun are among the other stars of Aafat-E-Ishq.
Neha Sharma revealed that she was thrilled to get cast in the movie. She claimed that Lallo is very dissimilar from the roles she has previously portrayed. “Lallo is from a small town in the India heartland, so I had to work hard on getting the local dialect and Hindi diction right,” the actor added in a statement. I also had to have a makeover because I’ll be appearing in a really unglammed role. However, because Lallo is so special and distinct, it was one of the most fulfilling roles to play.
“Aafat-E-Ishq is my Indian heartland version of ‘Liza, the Fox-Fairy,'” filmmaker Indrajit Nattoji continued. With certainty, Aafat-E-Ishq is an adaption rather than a remake.
