The trailer of the upcoming web series Aadha Ishq has been dropped at the riveting trailer of the romantic drama last Friday. The new web series marks to watch Aamna Sharif who was seen for the last time in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2.
The series has been directed by Nandita Mehra and it has been produced by 24 Frames Media. The story of the web series reveals a turbulent love story that can explore easily the complications regarding human emotions and relationships.
Aadha Ishq: Plot
The new fifty-nine-second trailer just follows such an explosive turn of the vents that become unfold while Rene is able to be essayed by Pratibha Ranta eager to find herself falling in love with Sahir who is introduced as a man sharing a torrid romantic past along with her mother named Roma played by Aamna Sharif. After separating for 10 years, Sahir comes back into Roma’s life along with seemingly dubious intentions. Now the main question is he has come back to take the revenge?
The story has been set in the fantastic backdrop of Kashmir and Mussorie, Aadha Ishq’s new trailer also left complicated surroundings with entire twists and turns. The new show is set to extend for 9 episodes and explores modern-day romance, complex relationships, and also the pain of unrequited and forbidden love as the narrative plays out in such two parallel timelines.
In talking about her experience of playing the character of Roma in Aadha Ishq, Aamna Sharif just said,” As an actor, you live for challenging characters. It is also about what fuels you to perform on screen. Now working on Roma in Aadha Ishq was one of the most liberating and unique processes. It allowed people to explore a lot as a performer as the show is dealing with the repercussions of such entangled relationships. I had the best time understanding and also getting into the headspace of Roma. I am excited for the audience to see the show now.”
Pratibha Ranta has been seen to play the role of Rene in the romantic drama continues, “Had it not been for Nandita Mehra’s extraordinary decision like this story would not have gotten and also conveyed this nicely. As actors, we totally surrendered ourselves to Nandita’s storytelling, and she bought the best out of all of us, indeed! As for Rene, it was fruitful learning about a diverse range of emotions along with one character. Aadha Ishq is unique and unconventional in its most extraordinary form.”
After playing the role of Sahir, Gourav Arora also added, “Sahir’s journey in Aadha Ishq has provided me such opportunity to showcase different facets introduce as an actor. After taking up the role along with so many layers there is a great challenge as it provides helps one’s mettle in terms of versatility. On presenting the role of Roma’s mysterious husband, Kunal Kapoor shares,” I play the role of Roma’s estranged husband in Aadha Ishq. My character in the show has his own set of flaws and vulnerabilities, he however very consciously chooses to brush them under the carpet. I was drawn to this character and to the script of the show for the wonderful complex narrative that paves the way along with a different perspective on love and relationships. I hope it succeeds in keeping the audience enthralled along with the roller-coaster ride of emotions.”
