That is the official logline — and it is already doing a lot of heavy lifting. ASI Babita Singh arrives at her in-laws’ home expecting an ordinary family occasion, only to find herself at the centre of a murder case. As she digs deeper into the investigation, the truth about her own marriage begins to unravel simultaneously — forcing Babita to choose between professional duty and personal survival.

It’s the kind of premise that makes you lean forward: crime, family tension, and a protagonist who is fighting battles on two fronts at once.
