Some meet-cutes involve spilled coffee. In *Doctor X*, one involves a pool cue pointed straight at a kneeling intern. Newly released stills show the tense first encounter between Kim Ji Won and Kim Woo Seok, and we already want to know what happened.

## Doctor X: The Scene Everyone Is Talking About

In the stills, intern Park Tae Kyung (Kim Woo Seok) kneels in a pool hall, tending to someone who has collapsed. Surgeon Gye Soo Jung (Kim Ji Won) appears out of nowhere and aims a pool cue at him. She looks down with a fierce, commanding stare, while he looks back, stunned.

It’s a perfect picture of two opposites. She cares about nothing beyond surgery. He’s bright, enthusiastic and eager.

## Why This Drama Is Worth Watching?

The premise is strong. A brilliant surgeon who trusts only her skills takes on a rotten system. Add an optimistic intern as her opposite, and you have the makings of both sharp medical action and a fun odd-couple dynamic. Soompi notes that viewers are curious how their pool hall run-in will affect life at the hospital.
