Apple made many announcements at its WWDC 2021 event; however, we still didn’t see any new redesigned MacBook Pro models. But the internet is just filled with rumours and leaks, and the tipster has brought some positive news for those waiting for the product. According to the leak, Apple will be releasing at least one MacBook Pro model during the first week of August.
Other sources have also confirmed that one MacBook Pro could arrive in Week 31, which is between August 2-8. However, one thing is quite certain that the ongoing chip shortage will, in a way, affect the release of the models. But it’s not just the chip shortage, and it seems that the Cupertino giant is currently having troubles with the mini-LED supply.
Owing to all these supply issues as well the pandemic, it’s given that the Cupertino giant will be releasing its Apple Silicon MacBook Pro models only by late 2021. Other reports mention that Apple will introduce a redesigned 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro, both rumoured to resemble the iPhone 12 with flat edges. Apple will also be removing the Touch Bar and will bring back MagSafe.
There have also been speculations that the Cupertino giant will provide a full-size HDMI port and a few USB 4 ports that support the Thunderbolt standard. The only problems currently standing in the way of Apple now are chip and mini-LED shipments. Once the company gets its hands on enough materials, we can expect some awesome models to land on the shelf.
